Cold water immersion, which is usually referred to as either cold plunging or ice bathing, is an excellent way to reduce inflammation, recover quicker from high-intensity workouts, better manage stress and anxiety, become more resilient, improve immune function, increase vitality and much more.
We have a 2 person filtered and chilled ice bath on the back deck, as well as the benefit of a massive cold water plunge pool just over the road courtesy of an abundant supply of cold water from the southern ocean which stretches far south to Antarctica.
What a luxury that our coastline offers.
