Hatha Yoga 8am Saturday with Annabel Cooney - Annabel teaches Traditional Hatha Yoga. Each class includes asana, pranayama and meditation. We work with a combination of both static and dynamic asanas (postures), infused with targeted pranayama (breath-work). The overall intention of practice is to stabilise the mind, liberate stuck energy, increase vitality, and direct prana (energy) for healing, self empowerment and liberation.
Sunrise Breathing & Meditation with Tim Altman - Experience the gorgeous early morning energy and sunsrise from our upstairs studio whilst practising a variety of diaphragmatic breathing rhythms & techniques that will energise you, relax your nervous system, and prepare you for a deep, mindful, heart opening meditation to finish off the session, and set you up for a super present day.
Pilates Burn Class with Kelsea Marion - Feel the fiery burn in this 45-minute mat Pilates class! A spicy sequence with dynamic moves pushing you to level up in this workout. Targeting all major muscles of the body with extra heat focused on your glutes, legs and lower body. You will feel challenged to push your body to the limits, motivated to keep moving, but supported with plenty of modifications leaving you feeling strong and empowered!
Qi Gong/Bagua Zang, 10am Saturday with Lisa Schuppe - Qi gong and Bagua are internal martial arts in the family of Tai chi. During class participants will be taken through a gentle warm up, movements that strengthen the joints and surrounding muscles whilst incorporating the breath to bring alignment between body, mind and spirit. Standing meditation, gathering Qi energy and naturally warming the body are hallmarks of Qi gong and bagua practice. A great way to start the weekend, participants will leave feeling invigorated yet relaxed.
Breathing for Sports Performance & Wim Hof Method, Sunday 10.30am with Tim Altman - Learn dynamic diaphragmatic breathing rhythms and breath hold techniques to help you perform better under the duress of sporting performance, exercise, extreme cold, and to feel more comfortable underwater while surfing, freediving etc. In addition, you’ll learn relaxing breathing rhythms to help you reset your nervous system and chill out when it is most difficult. A real eye opener that will leave you feeling relaxed, energised and expanded. Plus, much more confident while surfing, exercising, competing and in the cold. We will finish each class with a short ice bath or ocean plunge.. These classes will involve an introductory workshop of 3 hours once per month with follow up classes of 1-1.5 hours for the rest of the month to build on the practices.
Mindfulness Meditation with Peter Haxell - Foundations of Mindfulness. Each class will involve practising the basics of mindfulness: walking and sitting meditation as well as instruction in how to observe the body and mind. Classes will also involve discussion and Q&A around your meditation practiceMy main intention with this class is to stop, settle and breathe, to balance yinyang and boost vitality, as we re-energise our focus to move through the seasons with flow.
Community Yoga on Monday at 6pm with Alejsa Henry - An inclusive and accessible yoga class for all bodies. A space where you feel can be safe to show up regardless of your level of yoga experience, fitness, or flexibility. Where age and body shape aren't barriers to participation. Where we dress in whatever is comfortable for our bodies. Where there won't be any photos taken for social media posts. Where you can be as vulnerable and authentic as feels comfortable for you. This will be a gentle yoga, incorporating Hatha and yin yoga. All folks are welcome. This is a community yoga class, by donation, so you can pay what you can/feel. I don't want price to be a barrier to people being able to participate in yoga classes.
